The fryer oil was clean and fresh. The pub chips, fries, and onion rings came out perfectly. Of note are their pub chips, which didn't have one soggy or burnt piece. They have a great seasoning on the chips also. The 1/3 pound burgers are cooked through while being soft and juicy. They didn't have tea the day I visited because none came in on the truck, but this place is definitely worth coming out to try.

We've never been here before but we saw their sign back when they were in downtown Granite Falls and had always wanted to go. Last night we decided to get take out from there. We called the phone number several times but got a recording saying they hadn't set up voicemail yet. So we drove over since we were out anyway to place an order. The space is really impressive, a cute corner with couches and chairs, plenty of tables spaced out for social distancing, and a really cool little bar area with their taps on the wall. I placed our order, the blonde bartender confirmed it with me and we said we'd be back to get it 30 minutes later. Picked it up, was quick, got home and found out we were missing 2 chicken wraps. So I called to let them know and they checked the order. It was my mistake, I thought she had confirmed the 2 wraps with me when we placed the order but I must have messed that up. They offered to make them and let us pick them up with no charge even though I had made the mistake. The food was excellent, but that kind of service and level of willingness to take care of their customers is phenomenal. We will be back soon, so glad we have this little gem in town!!

Love this place! We’ve come several weeks in a row for Trivia Night or Bingo Night and have so much fun! Great food and great atmosphere. LaRae is the best waitress I’ve had in a long time! Please do bring cash for tips if you can, their system is not the best for helping their staff get their tips but I’m sure they are working on that. So if you can bring some bills for our girl! She works so hard and deserves it! All the staff is awesome though and so fun and easy going! We are only here a few more weeks so will try to come a few more times. And will make sure to come back again when in the area. We don’t even drink but the food is great and the atmosphere is fun and laid back. Our friends seem to love the drink offerings so it is a hit on all counts for our crowd.

Nice little restaurant in downtown Granite Falls. I enjoy the chicken quesadilla. It is close to where I work so we've gotten it for lunch a couple times recently. I placed my order over the phone and it was a little confusing but they made sure they got it correctly. Interior is nice, and I noticed decks of cards on the tables for customers to play while waiting or drinking. Will return soon.

I recently moved to Hickory, NC, and looked online to find a place to shoot pool. I have yet to find a place in Hickory that I like as much as I do Fyreside, and it's only a 10 minute drive. I enjoy playing in their weekly Thursday night pool tournament and have visited a few other times for the live music. Heather is a super bartender, and everyone has been very friendly and welcoming here.

Have mercy Miss Percy this is a throwback to them days of Schlitz and Boones Farm and sweetie darling waitresses. This joint is like it was plucked slap out of the seventies with the billiard (pool) tables and long comfortable bar with the friendly service. A piece of Americana but for them IPAs . Cold beer, pretty women, country men and a greasy spoon grill with a good band twanging away in the background. Reminds me of the days past when honky tonks, juke joints and after hours dives dominated this area. Don't know if they have a juke box here but I'd sure like to have a cold one while listening to the pool balls clack and the juke box playing a little George or Merle while the couple on the dance floor slowly dance the night away. Stilyet it has that great vibe with good people and a laid back down home feel. Real good place , real good and worth a visit or making it your local. Now if they'd just git some Schlitz or Strohs or Mickey's in here..........

We absolutely loved the place, the band was awesome as well as the atmosphere. The food was good and the bartenders were very friendly .We will definitely be going back and I'm taking more friends with me . I would definitely recommend this for a date night, girls night, guys night or just an evening out with friends or anything between.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere. Friendly staff, great food, and great drinks, what more could anyone ask for? Seriously though the food is amazing and definitely recommend. (Now with updated menu)

Repeat customer here. I love the atmosphere, the staff, and the owner always pops in and speaks to everyone. The food is always good and the beer is always cold. I love that they are adding more and more music artists to their schedule and building more stages. It’s gonna be lit this summer! Keep up the great work!

This place was very dark and cozy. Really good food, good beer list, laid back atmosphere, friendly staff, lots of seating and a little corner area with some cute kids toy kitchen. Nice short menu including wings, sandwiches, burgers and appetizers. I had Alice’s chicken sandwich which was shredded chicken and not what I was expecting but good flavor and the pub chips were perfect! Live music, outdoor deck and plenty of parking. This place is worth the trip!!
